Auda (Latin: audiere / to hear) distributed VoIP audio pipeline & integrations
Real-time voice channel audio streaming engine serving 2.5 Million listeners over low-latency Opus codec with Discord Webhooks and API integrations.
Visit live projectSituation
Voice-over-IP channels in large distributed communities required high-fidelity, real-time audio multiplexing and synchronized playback across high-concurrency voice channels without stream degradation or dropped packets.
Constraint
Strict 20ms audio frame packet budgets, low-latency Opus encoding, and high-frequency WebSocket event handling while scaling across thousands of simultaneous voice sessions without memory leaks or buffer starvation.
Decisions
Engineered a native Opus codec audio pipeline with adaptive buffer pacing, built Discord Webhook and REST API event dispatchers for channel automation, and integrated distributed streaming across 150+ audio providers and internet radio stations.
Outcome
Served 2.5 Million cumulative listeners and 60,000+ communities with jitter-free 48kHz Opus audio transmission, robust webhook dispatching, and high-throughput real-time voice channel integrations.
